For several years, Life Care Center of Jefferson City, Tenn., has held a community wide trick-or-treat event, and residents and associates got all dressed up to hand out candy to children on Oct. 30, 2012.
Activities associates had been busy decorating the hallways since the beginning of October, but they went all-out on the day of the event, decorating the hallways with ghosts, goblins, witches, scarecrows, spiders, black cats and vampires.
“It was so much fun being a part of this event,” said Angie Maddox, admissions and marketing director. “Seeing the residents’ smiles was truly a blessing. One of the residents was so happy I thought she was going to start crying.”
