Life Care Center of Sandpoint, Idaho, encourages families and friends to visit with their loved ones, and holiday family gatherings are a wonderful opportunity to come together.
On Dec. 16, 2009, the facility pulled out the fine linens for more than 80 visitors. Friends and family dined together with residents in celebration of Christmas and in anticipation of the New Year. The special dinner included choice of ham or turkey, scalloped or mashed potatoes, gravy, rolls, green beans almandine and a variety of pies.
The Sandpoint High School Choral Choir performed an array of holiday music.
?We love having family and friends come,? said Debra Decker, activities director. ?We see them frequently, and they become part of our extended family, just like their loved ones.?
