Life Care at Home recently won two different home health honors: the HHCAHPS Honors award and the HomeCare Elite Top Agency Award.
“Our nurses, therapists and caregivers understand that the patients are the heart of what we do,” said Chris Mitchell, CEO of Life Care Home Health, Inc. “Honors like these reflect their dedication to put patients and families first.”
HHCAHPS Honors
The Home Healthcare Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems gave the Honors award to Life Care at Home in Tennessee (the three agencies in Chattanooga, Cleveland and Ducktown), as well as to Harbor Place Home Health in Port St. Lucie, Fla.
Established by Deyta, a health care data management organization, the HHCAHPS annual honor acknowledges the top 20 percent of agencies based on patient satisfaction. Analysis covers performance and improvement of care over a 12-month period. The HHCAHPS Honors rankings were compiled from the survey results of more than 1,800 home health agencies from April 2011 to March 2012.
“The HHCAHPS Honors defines a new standard of excellence in the patient experience for home health agencies,” said Bill Bassett, Deyta’s vice president of home health. “Identifying the top performers in the home health industry is our way of recognizing home health agencies that are dedicated to providing high quality of care in a patient-centric approach. The resulting patient experience is a key driver of ongoing patient and agency success.”
HomeCare Elite Top Agencies
HomeCare Elite named Life Care at Home agencies in these locations as 2012 Top Agencies:
