Dietary Aide
Job Duties
Dietary Aides perform a variety of tasks usually not requiring cooking skills in the preparation, service, and clean-up of meals served to residents and staff in the facility and/or at other special events. All duties must be performed in accordance with all laws, regulations and Life Care standards. Dietary Aides report to the Director of Food & Nutrition Services.
Abilities
Candidates must possess the ability to communicate with residents and other facility staff. They must be able to speak, write, read and follow instructions in English, and successfully pass a criminal background check as well as pass any state-specific abuse/fraud registry check.
Required Experience
Prior food service experience in a healthcare setting, preferred.
Required Education
Must be a high school graduate, or equivalent.
