What is the AIT program?
- Approximately 24 months of training
- Provides knowledge and skills necessary to become a licensed nursing home administrator
- Prepares candidate to manage a long-term care facility
What does an AIT do?
First year completes rotations in:
- Activities
- Admissions
- Business Office
- Dietary
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Maintenance
- Marketing
- Medical records
- Nursing - including certified nursing assistant (CNA) license
- Social services
- Therapy
