Whatever It Takes
Life Care has more than 38,000 associates nationwide who help fulfill our mission of providing all residents with the individualized care they need and deserve. These associates recognize the important things that a resident always deserves a kind smile and favorite cup of tea, that the need for conversation and friendship does not lessen with age and that a small act of unexpected kindness can make a resident’s day.
Established in 1992, the Whatever It Takes customer service campaign was a way to reward Life Care associates for their extraordinary acts of kindness. In 2005, the program was taken a step higher, adding And Then Some to the title, to appropriately reflect Life Care’s commitment to honoring those associates who provide an extra measure of customer service.
Monthly winners are chosen at each facility, and, from these winners, an overall facility winner is selected for the year. The annual facility winners are eligible for the divisional Whatever It Takes And Then Some awards.
Anyone who has professional interaction with the associate including residents, residents’ family members, co-workers, supervisors or physicians may submit a nomination for the facility’s monthly award. Ask an associate at your local Life Care how you can nominate someone who has provided this extra care.
